hand knit items require a little bit more care than a cotton t-shirt...
all pieces should be hand washed in cold-warm water with a gentle detergent.
you can then roll the piece in a towel to wring out the excess water and lay flat to dry.
the best way to care for your piece is to wash it as infrequently as possible and only spot wash stains when necessary.
